DU’A (SUPPLICATIONS)
FOR BLESSINGS
Allāh, I seek refuge with You from losing Your blessing, losing the health that You gave me, the sudden onset of Your wrath, and anything that may lead to Your displeasure (Muslim #2739)
SUPPLICATION FOR YOURSELF
Allah, forgive my sins, remove the anger in my heart, and protect me from the trials of misguidance. (Tabarani, al-Du’a #1340)
FOR HEALTH & WELL-BEING
Allah! Grant health to my body. Allah! Grant health to my hearing. Allah! Grant health to my sight, There is no deity worthy of worship but You (Abu Dawud #5049)
IN YOUR PRAYER
Three simple du’as you can say in ruku and sujud – after having said your usual dhikr
Allāh, the One who changes the hearts, keep my heart firm on your religion
Allāh, I ask you for the best end
Allāh, nourish me with a sincere repentance before death
ANXIETY AND SADNESS
Allāh, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being over powered by men
Allāh’s Messenger would frequently make this supplication (Bukhārī #2893), indeed he rarely left it (Abū Ya’lā #3700) and he would teach it to his Companions (Bazzār #6235)
Let’s not forget that one of the reasons behind trial, tribulation and difficulty is for us to turn back to Allah. Remember Him, worship Him and make du’a for yourselves and your brothers and sisters everywhere. AND DONT FORGET the du’a of Jumu’ah.
