Wise Wellness

WISE are pleased to launch WISE Wellness, a faith-based holistic wellbeing initiative, which aims to help the mental wellbeing of our communities in High Wycombe. Rooted in Islamic values, WISE Wellness fosters wellbeing in various different ways – mental health awareness campaigns, workshops, wellbeing speaker talks, and faith-based counselling.
The core ethos of WISE Wellness draws inspiration from the Words of God in the Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings on him) in his Sunnah, combined with modern approaches to mental health to promote physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.
Mental Health Awareness
By empowering individuals to lead more fulfilling lives, we are working towards raising awareness on taboo topics in the community such as mental health, trauma, OCD, addictions, domestic abuse, with signposting to mental health provision.
Some examples of previous mental health awareness workshops are:
- Understanding Trauma
- Islam and Mental Health
- Navigating Family Relationships
WISE Wellness collaborates with well-established organisations such as Bucks Talking Therapies and Inspirited Minds to ensure integrity and qualified advice from knowledgeable speakers and practitioners.
